Reissued in 2011 for $ 340 US dollars.
This new shape of limited edition perfume bottle for Angel features the Mugler Star at the bottom of the bottle, echoing the shape of a celestial droplet from the winter sky. A precious star is carved into the glass that holds the delicious scent of Angel. (bergamot, tropical fruits, vanilla, caramel and patchouli).
The etched star sits at the bottom of the bottle, simbolizing a water droplet. I particularly really like this bottle and so does Mugler, since it was reissued in 2010 and repackaged as the 2014 Secret Star (at $180-$195), with the addition of Swarovski crystals inside of the bottle, other than that its the same bottle for all three reissues!
This bottle was later reissued or resold at mugler.com and at saks.com, since I saw them here in May 2011. The price had increased from $240 to $340. I am assuming this was reissued since its original production was rather high at about 10,000 bottles.
Thierry Mugler Angel Perfume Presentation Box
This bottle came in a light blue presentation box, lined in white. Inside are two stoppers, a regular metal thumbprint like stopper for holding the perfume sealed in the box, and the display icicle shaped stopper made out of glass that shoots up from the heavy droplike shaped base. This bottle reminds me of Superman’s Fortress of Solitude crystal panel.
