Considered one of the rarest collectable Perfume bottle stars, this Millenium edition was dubbed The Big Bang.  Only 150 bottles are said to have been produced, which should make this bottle one of the most valuable one, most of the other series have a run of about 3,000 bottles.  I have never seen this bottle on ebay in my many years collecting.  The bottle’s stopper is made to look like an explosion of stars.

The Book Thierry Mugler Galaxy Glamour credits goldsmith Goosens, Paris with producing the spectacular stopper. Made famous by his jewelry for Coco Chanel, Robert Goosens then went on to create masterpieces for Balenciaga, Schiaparelli, Grès, Rochas, then Yves Saint Laurent gave him orders for totally surrealistic jewelry and cutting-edge accessories. He also design limited edition perfume bottles for Yves Sain Laurent.  In 2005, Goossens was acquired by Chanel’s Métiers d’Art division.

Thierry Mugler Angel Perfume Presentation Box

Since I have never seen this bottle up for auction, I am not sure if it came in a special presentation box.  I have found this photo showcasing the bottle inside of an acrylic display case. In April 2017 I found this photo that shows the display training case it came boxed in! Its looks awsome! You can also see that there is a special stopper to the bottle and the decorative metal spiked stopper covers that second stopper.  I wish I could find a bottle of my own!
